About Me
My name is Salwa Anam and I am a graduate research assisstant in Stony Brook University. Previously I have done research on optogenetics, synthetic biology and fabricating electrospun scaffolds for cardiovascular tissue engineering. Currently I am working on computational modeling of transcatheter aortic valve replacement procedure in bicuspid aortic valve patient population.
In addition to my research interest, I am highly passionate about photography. In the past few years, I did a few event photography and I am continuously looking for photoshoot opportunities. I also love to sing and took lessons on Bangladeshi music for 3 years. I was a part of south asian and western fusion a cappella in Stony Brook university. I also love traveling swimming, and playing badminton |
